The Vimson Potato Peeler Water Reuse System is an advanced water recovery and solids separation solution designed to significantly reduce fresh water consumption in potato processing plants. The system efficiently recovers and recirculates process water generated during potato peeling operations, helping manufacturers achieve sustainable production while reducing operating costs.
The process begins with a high-efficiency Parabolic Screen Separator that removes peelings, fibers, and coarse suspended solids from the wastewater stream. The screened water is then directed to a Hydrocyclone Separation System, where fine Total Suspended Solids (TSS), sand, grit, and starch particles are separated through centrifugal action, ensuring cleaner water suitable for reuse in the peeling process.
The separated solids from both stages are collected and further dewatered using a robust Screw Press Compactor. This reduces the moisture content of the waste, minimizes disposal volume, and lowers waste handling costs.
